First leg...

It has been almost a year since any of us cycled a bicycle. I was concerned for Caya as her skill is quite rudimentary.

Rented 3 bicycles for 30£.

We started off quite nicely. A gentle uphill slope which proved too much for my unfit lower limbs muscles to cycle due to Hana's weight. We continued along the route that actually runs next to a railway track. Min cycled in front and I stayed at the back to guard Caya.

After a while, I noticed TWO BLACK DOGS that were following us. They looked like German Sherperds and I told Min to cycle faster. In the haste to do so....her chain somehow dislodged and got stuck. Caya overtook her and I had to stop to help Min. Those @*!!@ dogs came really close and somehow ignored us and went ahead to follow Caya..... I sprinted ahead towards Caya leaving Min to guard Hana. I was worried sick that those two *@!!@ dogs would maul Caya. It turned out that those two creatures were simply following cyclist for fun and they were not hostile. Realising that, I called Caya to regroup with us as I repaired Min's bicycle.

Phew.....

Continued our journey for another 2 miles before we reached a rail station called DINAS. Stopped to look for refreshment and was told to go to a restaurant by the main road. Found the restautrant that sells BENGAL Food. Due to some @!!@ British law, they would not sell us any drinks unless we eat at their establishment. (drinks only come with meals...)

Arghh....!!!

Caya and Min were thirsty. A meal would set us back by almost 15£/person and it is not HALAL. Told the fella that all we want is a glass of water and I am willing to pay for it. He gave us two glasses of tap water without charging us.

Went back to the Dinas railway station and rested for about 15 minutes.....
