Day 8 - Going to Blaenau Ffestiniog

Going to the Slate Caverns today.

There are a few slate mines in Wales and we are going to the big one named Llechwedd Slate Caverns located at Blaenau Ffestiniog. (Don't ask me how to pronounce them...)

Set out in 2 cars and somehow we got split at the round-about between Bangor, Caernarfon and Betws-y-Coed. After un petite attempt to look for the red Almera, me and Aida decided to go ahead on route A5 hoping thay we would meet again. The route was scenic but the thought of Caya and Hana seperated from us in the other car was always in our minds. We were concerned that Daleela was worried too.

Drove pass Swallow Falls, Betws-y-coed and still no sign of them. Undecided whether to go ahead or make a huge U turn. Decided to go ahead and hope for the best. As we were approaching Blaenau Ffestiniog...VOILA!!! La rouge voiture et la.... What a relief and we were reunited again and reached the mines as a group.
